December Newsletter

The autumn term comes to a close on Friday 18th December at 3.15pm.

Many congratulations to the Year 1 and Year 2 children for their fantastic performance of Baa Baa Bethlehem.

The Christmas concert was a great success and it was great to see some fantastic performances from the choir and boom whackers. A big thank you to Miss Molloy for all her hard work enabling the children to showcase their talents.

Thank you to all the parents who visited the Year 5 pop up museum celebrating the achievements of six inspirational women. The children had created display boards and websites explaining the reasons why the lives of these amazing women need to be celebrated.

The Nursery have been taking their learning outside by having their own forest school in Plymouth Grove Park. It was great to see the children building dens, collecting wood and making wooden medals. their final celebration was around a camp fire  where they made popcorn.  Thank you to Miss Riaz for organising forest schools.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Mrs Harris who is retiring today after fifteen years at Plymouth Grove. Thank you for all the help and support you have given the staff and children. You will be dearly missed.

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

School opens again on Tuesday 5th January at 8.50am.
