And finally everyone is tucked up in bed after an exhausting day.
After arriving get in London at 2pm, the fun started immediately as we cruised down the Thames from Westminster to Tower Bridge gazing at sights such as The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Globe Theatre, The Shard and The Tower of London.
The tour continued on an open top bus to see Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace. We watched the guards marching in their busby hats in front of the main gate where the flag fluttered high indicating that The Queen was in residence.
Marching down The Mall with could hear the sound of The Royal Marines Band performing at Horse Guards Parade. We saluted Nelson in Trafalgar Square before walking down Whitehall and to Downing Street. What a day.
Let’s hope for a good night’s sleep so that the debate teams are ready for action in the morning.
